Process

Challenge

Desk research, field research, and interviews showed that especially during moving out, there is often uncertainty about ownership and residual values.

The goal was to alleviate this emotionally and organizationally sensitive situation through a functionally well-thought-out solution.

Solution

The interface of the web app presents the inventory and shares in a structured manner, automates the calculation of depreciation, and makes the distributions comprehensible for all parties. The clear, minimalist UI reduces cognitive load, placing transparency, traceability, and fairness at the heart of the interaction.

Result

MiniDini resulted in a high-fidelity prototype that significantly simplifies the management of shared inventory and ownership stakes.

The project strengthened the connection between research, conception, and interface design, demonstrating how digital tools can reduce the potential for conflict in shared living and promote fairness.
